ADULT MOSQUITO CONTROL SPRAYING

Clarke Environmental Services will be conducting its fifth Adult Mosquito Control Spraying of unincorporated areas of the Township on Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning, September 11 & 12, weather conditions permitting.                                                             


Application for Social Service Funds Available

Libertyville Township Supervisor, Kathleen M. O'Connor, announced that applications for Township Funding for 2018-19 will be available at the Township Office on Monday, July 9, 2018 for any interested not-for-profit social service agency.  Applications may be picked up in person, or mailed by written request.

Any not-for-profit agency that serves Libertyville Township residents may apply for funding.  To be considered for 2018-19 funding, applications must be completed and returned by Tuesday, August 14, 4:00 p.m.  No applications can be accepted after that date.

Applications may be obtained from the Libertyville Township Office at 359 Merrill Court, Libertyville, 60048. Township hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  For more information call the Township at 847.816.6800.


NORTH TRI-STATE TOLLWAY - Bradley Road Bridge Reconstruction

The Bradley Road Bridge carrying traffic over the North Tri-State Tollway (I-94) will close for bridge reconstruction May 30, 2018, through September. (pdf)

The Villages of Libertyville and Mundelein and the Townships of Libertyville, Fremont, and Shields have entered into a partnership which will expand the current geographic service area and hours of service so seniors and individuals with a disability have greater access to public transportation! This expanded service begins March 1, 2016.

Service Area:  All of the Villages of Libertyville and Mundelein and the Townships Libertyville, Fremont and Shields. Outside destinations include: College of Lake County, Grayslake Medical Destinations, Walmart - Fountain Square, Greenleaf Medical, Lake County Health Department, Vernon Hills Shopping area and Metra Station Lake Forest (West)

Service Hours: Monday - Friday 5:30 a.m. - 6:45 p.m.

Eligibility: Seniors (60 and older) and Individuals with a disability

Fares: $3.00 one way for rides under 10 miles; $6.00 one way for rides over 10 miles

Advanced Call-In: Rides must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

Reservations: 1.800.201.6446 Call Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m - 6:30 p.m. and Sunday 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Additional Information:  Senior housing shuttle 130/201 E. Cook to Civic Center Monday thru Friday $0.50
